MISTO

Portuguese for mixed and pronounced /'mistu/, Misto has a love for all cuisines. Chef Wilson Costa was born in São Paulo, Brazil, classically trained in French cooking, grew up in Queens, NY eating Indonesian food in his friend's homes and his mentor in cooking was from Thailand. He has also worked as Executive Chef in Italian and Mediterranean restaurants and enjoys building wood-fired cooking equipment. Nadia Costa has worked in FOH of restaurants for many years, enjoys growing vegetables, herbs and edible flowers in their backyard garden and has recently taken on baking with the start of their business. Wilson and Nadia love to use locally sourced ingredients with some even from their own backyard! Their passion for open-fired cooking allows them to cook for you almost anywhere.

Food Preparation

The cutest curbside dinner in the Catskills! Introducing @n_misto_w : a new food venture by @wilsoncosta28 and @nadiafarm, a couple of culinary veterans in the Hudson Valley for almost two decades. Locally sourced, seasonal everything, extra fresh and made with so much love. This is as boutique as a meal service gets.

The Starlite Motel

The small business community in the Hudson Valley is the BEST. Both of these wonderful folks delivered to me today because I'm working all weekend. Dinner from @n_mist_w featuring smoked bone in Ribeye and I had a brunch of @mpo_crew cider donut and caramel ice cream and a homemade chocolate cookie ice cream sandwich from @forunesicecream #shoplocal #eatlocal #loveourlocals

Cabin Fever Outfitters

Nadia and Wilson went above and beyond to make our wedding memorable. They made the planning seamless for us. Most importantly, the food was all anyone could talk about! Every dish was wonderful and our wedding cake was as gorgeous as it was delicious. Nadia, Wilson and their team provided first class service and created a beautiful dining experience for us and our guests.

Jill & Ishan

On Saturday June 26, 2021 we celebrated our daughters wedding on our farm in Hudson, New York. All of the food was catered by Misto. Working with Wilson and Nadia Costa, the owners of Misto, was an absolute joy and pleasure. They helped us with the entire menu, everything from the cocktail hour, main dinner, desserts and after hour snacks. The food was delicious and plentiful and served by their professional serving staff. Misto creates a special culinary event that was perfect. Their food preparation is truly an art form cooking from morning until evening dinner the aroma of the food over open fires filled the farm air in anticipation of an awesome feast. Everyone loved the food and we are so thankful to Wilson and Nadia for making Courtney and Michael’s wedding reception extra special.

Laure and Gregory Salerno.
